  • Zero Day and Trojan Horse – Mark Russinovich (yes, that Mark)
  • Pretty much anything on the Access Data or Guidance Software support web sites
  • Blue Nowhere – Jeffrey Deaver
  • Halting State and Rule 34 – Charles Stross
  • Zero History – William Gibson
  • American Gods – Neil Gaiman
  • The Magicians – Lev Grossman
  • The Night Watch Trilogy – Sergei Lukyanenko

    Love item #6. While it is not fiction, I recommend adding The Cuckoo’s Egg. It could be fiction with how suspenseful it is, but it is in reality a true story.

    Blue Nowhere was really good… can’t wait to read more on this list! Also, 2nd Greg’s recommendation of The Cuckoo’s Egg, very well written
